Data Scientist

In this position, you will be responsible for building the data management of our solution.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with others to understand the business problem
• Explore and collect data from multiple sources to apply or develop analytical and statistical methods and machine learning models
• You apply statistics and machine learning algorithms to discover patterns in datasets
• Design experiments and assess the results by monitoring model performance and making recommendations
• Present reports and create insightful information and help managers make better data-driven decisions
• Identify opportunities to apply statistics to improve business performance
• Develop meaningful data visualizations using data science software

The desired assets for this position are:

• 3+ years of professional experience in a Statistics role or.a related field (experience in the innovation, technology, gaming and/or entrepreneurship support sector is considered a plus)
• Basic knowledge of key statistical and economic principles, including SAS or SQL programming skills
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R, Python, or similar statistical programming package
• Ability to leverage education and training opportunities to develop solutions
• Statistical expertise
• Creativity
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset
• Knowledge of Thingsboard IoT platform and Trendz Analytics is a plus
• Excellent command of office and collaborative tools (MS 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Notion, ...)
• Bilingual: French, English (other languages are a plus)
