In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, evaluating, and maintaining electronic systems and components.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning electronics projects: Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software. Developing effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures
  • Coordinating with relevant individuals: Liaising with engineers, other professionals, as well as clients to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications
  • Training yourself in the field: Showing initiative and keeping up with advancements in Electronics. Observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Testing and evaluating electronics products: Evaluating operational systems and recommending design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements
  • Performing maintenance and repairs: Monitoring processes, systems, and punctually identifying problems
  • Writing usage recommendations: Writing specifications, instructions, reports, and handling other required administrative duties.

The desired assets for this position are

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a Electronics Engineer role or in a related field (experience in the innovation, technology, gaming and/or entrepreneurship support sector is considered a plus)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset
  • CAD tool of your choice for design and simulations
  • 3D printing operation and maintenance
  • Hands-on knowledge in electronics design and assembly (PCB, soldering, wiring…)
  • Excellent command of office and collaborative tools (MS 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Notion, ...)
  • Bilingual: French, English (other languages are a plus)
  • Spirit of initiative / autonomy / versatility
  • Organization, precision and rigour
  • Ability to prioritise requests from different sources
  • Ability to synthesise and analyse
  • Ability to express yourself orally and in writing
  • Discretion in handling confidential information
